I'm now retired from 30 years of teaching and living in eastern Washington, instead of the beautiful-but-not-so-sunny Seattle area. It's warm, but dry, here and has lovely scenery. For those of you who've never ventured this far west of the Mississippi, I can guarantee you'd enjoy our area of the state. It's covered with mountains, rolling hillsides, vineyards, orchards, and dairy farms. We're the new Napa Valley--with 32 wineries just in Prosser. Our winters are spent in REALLY SUNNY Peoria, AZ.
