Stephen L. Alm - Palm Bay - Stephen L. Alm, age 59, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at home. Born in Minneapolis, MN, he was the son of the late Robert G. and Jeanette (Burney) Cole. He was the beloved brother of Gina A. Bardy and James G. Alm. Mr. Alm was a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, OR. He was a brain injury survivor and a creative and gifted artist. His Christian faith, family and friendships were central to his life. He leaves his sister, Gina, and brother-in-law, William A. Bardy; brother, James G. Alm; nephews, Ben, Nick, and Sam Bardy; niece, Mona (Travis Clark) Alm; great-niece, Faith Alm Clark; sister-in-law, Martha (Patrick Chai) Alm; cousins, Patricia Turner, Michael Dougherty, Susan (Terry) Krick, Nancy Sanford, and John Alm. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Palm Bay, 1080 Port Malabar Rd., Palm Bay. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Mark's Presbyterian Church Columbarium, Tucson, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to South Brevard Funeral Home.
